I have realised that my week is split into two halves: the good, and the hectic.
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (my one day off) and saturday are the ‘good halves’.
I have a day off, and no morning duties (i.e. waking kids up) or arvo duties (i.e. putting kids to bed).

Today was a hectic day. The other two gappies have their day off, so Kat and I share most of their responsibilities between us. But, also a lot of fun. I played ‘Hares and Hounds’ with the 3rd and 4th form (about 8-10 yrs old) for about an hour and a half. It’s pretty much just gang up tiggy, except you play on almost the entire school grounds (which is half forest). It had been pouring down rain the day previously, so we were running amuck in the mud. We got absolutely drenched, and all the boys had to have showers before they came in for their next lesson. My white runners are now brown.

A lot of fun.
