Today was my day off, along with Kat. Being in a foreign country, I was eager to get up early and start exploring.
So, I got up at 11:00 (ha ha, did you actually think I would forego a sleep-in? – or a ‘lie in’ as they call it here).

Kat and I decided to explore the town where we are based, Crieff.

Cottages of Crieff

Like most towns in the UK, it’s very old and has an old pub on almost every corner.
We celebrated my 18th at the Crieff Hotel a few nights previously.

Anyway, we explored the town and found this little beauty:

Also found one of the most beautiful gardens in Scotland:

Stopped for lunch at a pub called the Towers, and then headed home.

Tomorrow, I travel with the Senior boys hockey team about 4 hours north (or four hours closer to the north pole as I think about it).
I will take some pictures tomorrow if my camera doesn’t freeze over when I take it out of the case.

Next stop… the op shops (see the post below)
